Role Overview:
We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong experience in Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and SQL databases to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs. The role involves API development, performance optimization, troubleshooting, security, and database management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and optimize databases using MongoDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend, API, and production issues.
- Implement appropriate security and authentication mechanisms.
- Work with cloud platforms and development tools to support backend applications and services.
Required Technical Skills:
Backend Development
- Strong experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API development.
- Experience with JWT and OAuth2 authentication mechanisms.
- Basic knowledge of Python.
Databases
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB.
- Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of database design, queries, and performance optimization.
Cloud & Development Tools
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Good understanding of Git for source control.
- Experience using Postman for API development and testing.
Good to Have
- Experience with Docker.
- Experience with Redis.
- Understanding of message queues and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Exposure to CI/CD practices and pipelines.
